The Black Isle Men's Shed is currently building their own shed within the Avoch Community Centre. Once operational, it will be equipped with a range of woodworking equipment with experienced members ready to show others how to best use them.

In addition, we hold regular talks on a variety of topics including photography, IT Clinics, health and anything else which the members might request. These talks are either held in the Community Centre or in other local venues - please go to the website and to the Diary Page for a schedule of activities.

The grand opening is scheduled for 27th October. See website for more details.

Chanonry Sailing Club welcomes sailors of all ages, offering social sailing, dinghy racing, dinghy training and coaching opportunities.

The Club has some dinghies available for the use of Club members who do not have their own boats.

We have trot moorings for Club members with cruisers and access to Fortrose harbour.

Recently the Club has built a St Ayles coastal rowing skiff and an enthusiastic group takes part in rowing activities both at home and away. A second skiff is planned.

Nairn Sailing Club is a friendly and informal club based on the harbour front in Nairn. We have a popular cruiser section offering racing and social cruises throughout the year. We also have a thriving dinghy section.

We also have regular club nights each Friday during the season and hold regular social events at our clubhouse
