Highlands Astronomical Society is where amateur astonomers and others with an interest in astronomy share their passion for the stars, planets and all else related.

There is something for everyone, from talks to observation sessions, suitable for all - from absolute beginners to the more advanced observer. Most of our activities take place in and around Culloden, where we meet every month and where we have our own Observatory

On two Friday evenings each month (from Sep-Mar), the Observatory will be open to the general public. Visitors are welcome to come and join us for an evening under the stars, where we can show you some of the wonders of the universe!
